CEU Credits

How does this pertain to me?

Recently there has been an increased focus on continuing education programs for licensed professionals. In addition to furthering your education, these programs provide opportunities to get involved and gain knowledge of technical advances in your field, and in many cases, are required in order for you to renew licenses or certifications.

What is a CEU?

A CEU is a continuing education unit. One CEU is equivalent to 10 hours of training. Individuals that are certified operators with the Ministry of the Environment require CEU's to maintain and/or upgrade their level of certification.

How can I earn these credits?

If you are a certified operator with the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) you can earn CEU's at the Northwestern Ontario Water and Wastewater Conference (NWOWWC). A NWOWWC certificate will be emailed to you at a later date.
